History of CoinStats
CoinStats was created in 1997 after speaking with many of our rare coin investing clients who were also active in the stock market. Seeing the many similarities and needs for clients in both markets, especially in identifying undervalued stocks and undervalued coins, we were motivated to provide the same vital services already available to stock investors. With CoinStats, we’re able to help our clients make better, more informed, and more profitable decisions regarding their rare coin investments.

$20 Liberty Overviews
The Liberty Gold Double Eagle series is one of the oldest large denomination coins produced in the United States, minted from 1849-1907. They were struck in three varieties at five mints, Philadelphia, San Francisco, New Orleans, Carson City and Denver. The Liberty Gold Double Eagle played an integral role in developing United States currency and has ffered substantial appreciation over time.

Saint Gaudens Overviews
The Saint Gaudens Gold Double Eagle series was in production from 1907-1933 in the United States and is generally considered one of the most beautiful coins ever created. They were minted in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Denver with the initial runs excluding the motto “In God We Trust.” Starting in 1908 the motto was added and no motto versions were no longer produced. They are widely collected and occupy two places among the world’s top five most expensive coins sold at auction.
